  • Howard Silverman

    Howard Silverman, was raised in an observant Jewish home in Albany, New York. After investigating the claims of Yeshua, Howard embraced Him as Messiah in 1976. He was ordained in 1981 at Olive Tree Congregation in Chicago, Illinois. Howard worked for Chosen People Ministries from 1980-1990. He has served as Congregational Leader of Beth Messiah Congregation in Columbus, Ohio since 1991. Howard served as president of The Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations from 2008-2012. Howard has been a graduate student at The Ohio State University in the department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures and at the Messianic Jewish Theological Institute. He received a B.S. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a diploma in the Advanced Studies Program at Moody Bible Institute. His blog, Yeshua Matters, attracts much discussion within Jewish and Christian communities. Howard and his wife Janet have three children and a granddaughter.
