Documentary Screening

Beth Messiah Congregation is proud to host a special screening of the powerful documentary "SATURDAY October 7th," a firsthand account of survival and resilience following one of the darkest days in recent history. This compelling 1-hour film shares the stories of 7 survivors of the October 7th massacre. Their testimonies provide irrefutable, firsthand accounts of the atrocities committed on that day and serve as a vital tool to combat the denial and misinformation currently spreading in our communities, campuses, and online.

"SATURDAY October 7th" shares the harrowing stories of survivors from diverse walks of life—an elementary school teacher, a farmer and family man, a single mother, a chef, a new immigrant with dwarfism, a singer with dreams of stardom, and a young woman looking forward to a night of dancing under the stars. They lived peacefully until their paradise was turned into a nightmare. Forced to hide in bomb shelters, bushes, and beneath the bodies of their friends, these survivors have come forward one year later to share their stories with the world.

The screening is free but donations are appreciated.
