Sukkot, the Feast of Booths, begins on the fifteenth day of Tishrei and lasts for eight days.  It is the Fall harvest festival, the time of our rejoicing in all that God has provided for us. We celebrate the evening service outside in our congregational sukkah, weather permitting while our morning service is held in the sanctuary, with our oneg luncheon in the sukkah, again, weather permitting.  The defining feature of Sukkot is the shaking of the lulav (bundles of palm, myrtle, and willow branches) and etrog (a citron).

Wednesday, October 16, @ 5pm — outdoor service in the Sukkah

Thursday, October 17, @ 10am — in the Sanctuary (Oneg in the Sukkah)
